GoSnap Tours: Terms and Conditions
Acceptance of Terms By purchasing or using GoSnap Tours services, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these terms and conditions.
1. Commencement of Travel Travel must begin on the specified date at the time of purchase unless otherwise notified by GoSnap.
2. Pricing All prices are stated in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).
3. Age Classification Children are categorized as aged 3-12 years. Infants are considered as aged 0-2 years.
4. Ticket Validation Travel agent vouchers or E-Tickets from websites are not valid until confirmed by GoSnap.
5. Cancellation Policy for Group Tours If you wish to cancel a GoSnap group tour:
- Cancellations made 5-8 days before the tour date incur a 25% cancellation fee plus any applicable booking fees and charges.
- Cancellations made 2-4 days before the tour date incur a 50% cancellation fee plus any applicable booking fees and charges.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour date will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
6. Cancellation Policy for Private Tours If you wish to cancel a GoSnap private tour:
- Cancellations made 5-8 days before the tour date incur a 25% cancellation fee plus any applicable booking fees and charges.
- Cancellations made 2-4 days before the tour date incur a 50% cancellation fee plus any applicable booking fees and charges.
- Cancellations made 48 hours or less before the tour date will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
7. Reservation Changes Changes to reservations must be made at least 24 hours prior to departure by contacting our reservations department.
8. Operational Changes GoSnap Private Day Tours reserves the right to alter fares, routes, overnight stops, pricing, inclusions, accommodation operators, departure dates, times, and locations without notice. We also reserve the right to substitute vehicles as necessary.
9. Timeliness and Delays GoSnap will strive to adhere to advertised departure and arrival times but will not be liable for any delays or for the cancellation of any activities or services.
10. Liability for Loss GoSnap shall not be responsible for any type of loss or damage arising from the cancellation, delay, or alteration of any tour, whether caused directly or indirectly.
11. Personal Safety and Belongings GoSnap will not be liable for illness, injury, or death of any passenger or for the loss of, or damage to, any personal belongings, irrespective of the circumstances. Travel insurance is not included in the price of the tour, and passengers are recommended to obtain suitable insurance.
12. Indemnity You agree to indemnify GoSnap against any loss, damage, or expense arising from any third-party claim related to your use of services or any actions or omissions while using GoSnap services.
13. Third-Party Services GoSnap is not liable for any services provided by other operators included as part of the tour.
14. Legal Governance These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts. These conditions do not affect your statutory rights as defined by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
15. Terms and Pricing Adjustments GoSnap may modify any terms and conditions or prices without prior notice.
16. Minimum Participation Tours require a minimum number of participants to operate. If this number is not met, the tour may be cancelled, and alternate options will be offered.
17. Force Majeure GoSnap will not be held liable for any failure to fulfill its obligations under these terms and conditions, including any delays or cancellations, due to unforeseeable circumstances that prevent such fulfillment. These circumstances include but are not limited to natural disasters (such as floods, earthquakes, and hurricanes), acts of terrorism, civil unrest, or other external forces beyond GoSnap’s control.
18. Dispute Resolution In the event of a dispute arising from or in connection with these terms and conditions, the parties agree to seek an amicable resolution through negotiation. If an agreement cannot be reached through negotiation within a reasonable period, the parties agree to submit the dispute to mediation before resorting to litigation. This process is intended to reduce legal fees and time by resolving disputes out of court.
