Additionally, our office supports seven days a week with on-call phone assistance available from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM daily to ensure our guides have immediate support while on duty. Participation in active experiences such as hiking and biking involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:
- Uneven trails with potential trip hazards like protruding rocks.
- Steep drop-offs or undercut trail edges that could lead to falls.
- Obstacles on trails such as fallen trees that require careful navigation.
- The potential for falling debris from windy conditions causing trees and branches to fall.
- Rockfall risks along trails that pass through unstable areas or beneath overhanging cliffs.
- Adverse weather conditions that could lead to hypothermia, hyperthermia, or encounters with rain, sleet, snow, and thunderstorms.
- Heights exposure on various bridge crossings.
- The possibility of becoming lost if deviating from the trail or group.
Additional risks associated with motorized and other leisure experiences include:
- Motor vehicle accidents.
- Pedestrian collisions.
- Injuries when entering or exiting vehicles.
- Intoxication risks on tours involving alcohol.
To mitigate these risks, all GoSnap guides receive extensive internal training, hold current first aid certifications, and conduct tours with a focus on minimizing potential dangers. Furthermore, we collaborate with various third-party service providers, including helicopter and boat cruise operators, wineries, and flight services. These partners are required to complete a health and safety acknowledgment form to ensure they meet our stringent safety criteria before participating in our tours.
